Jo has worked with us for nearly six years. With a wealth of experience in the workplace and a background in the legal profession, Jo started at 4 Site Security in a temporary role on a software management project, then moving into a permanent role within the administration team. In 2019, she began managing the HR function for the business, while line managing the administration team and supporting compliance. As well as fulfilling all aspects of her HR role, Jo line manages two account administrators, the vetting and recruitment coordinator, our payroll and HR administrator and the compliance officer.

“I love working for 4 Site Security because of the people and the fact that it still very much has a family culture. It’s people that make the company,” explains Jo. “We are a very connected and close senior leadership team.”

Outside of work, Jo is an ardent follower of football and Leeds United. She is a season ticket holder and tries to go to as many away matches as she can. She loves live gigs and music festivals and is a frequent visitor to the cinema.

But the real passion in her life (don’t tell her husband?) is Alfie who is a Chonzer – a Bichon and Schnauzer mix!

We asked Jo: Which social problem do you think is most important to tackle and why?
She said: “Definitely the cost of living crisis. Many people cannot afford food and are using food banks, even when they are in full-time work. And some of the big companies that supply things that are essential to our daily living must be fair with people. I try and help by signposting people for support. This crisis has a huge impact on people’s mental health."
